Hip-Hop’s Elite Attend VH1 Hip-Hop Honors

The biggest names in hip-hop past and present came out to the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York to celebrate VH1’s third annual “VH1 Hip-Hop Honors.” Ice T hosts this year as they honor Afrika Bambaataa, Beastie Boys, Ice Cube, Russell Simmons, Rakim, Eazy E, MC Lyte, and the Wu-Tang Clan. Common, Da Brat, Diddy, Erykah Badu, Fat Joe, George Clinton, KRS-One, Lil Jon, Lil’ Kim, Mike Epps, OutKast, Remy Ma, Talib Kweli, The Roots, Q-Tip, Xzibit, and Young Jeezy are set to appear. The show airs Tuesday, 10/17, at 9 pm on VH1.

Guess who’s back in the motherfucking house? Lil’ Kim reunited with Da Brat after performing MC Lyte’s “Paper Thin” along with Shawnna and Remy Ma.

Q-Tip, Diddy, and Fabolous performed “Hold It Now, Hit It” and “Paul Revere” in a tribute to the Beastie Boys.

Did George Clinton go through the trash to find his outfit? This is truly hot garbage.
