After performing at a Super Bowl party in Miami, R. Kelly was hospitalized for a burst appendix. Kelly remains at the Miami hospital Wednesday, and will miss a court hearing in Chicago as a result. Kelly, 40, who was in Miami to perform at a Super Bowl party over the weekend, was taken to a hospital emergency room for a burst appendix and was operated on the same day, said his lawyer, Terence Gillespie. The singer remains hospitalized and is in good condition, Gillespie said.
