Chamillionaire Ditches Profanities

With the debate over the use of language in hip-hop a hot topic these days, few rappers have spoken on the issue until now. Houston rapper Chamillionaire rarely sacrifices lyrical content for profanities. “On my new album I don’t say the word n***a, I don’t curse nowhere on my whole album,” Chamillionaire told AllHipHop.com. “People are not even gonna know it. I guarantee if I don’t go out and say it in the media, they’re not even gonna realize that.” Chamillionaire was recently certified by the RIAA as the first multi-platinum Mastertone artist in history. His new album Ultimate Victory is due out June 5th.

I’m glad he did that. I rarely hear in his lyrics, and profanity. Good for him. And congrats on being the first Mastertone Multi-Platinum artist. That’s a good look.

I noticed that but I also noticed he shine without usind derogatory words, he is one of few that can hold it down for the streets without going there, he has that swagger. And if you catch him on a regular or interview or even that episode of punk’d he don’t gotta get stupid and hott headed to make you back-up. Cham. cool peop. 4real and that’s real!

    Good.

that’s such a good luck. Only REAL rappers could be able to do that. Rappers curse so much on there songs that by the time they put out the censored version all they have is the hook.

Paul Wall ain’t never used profanity. I loved Get Ya Mind Correct but that was the only thing I would have changed. Cham still rocks.
