KANYE did the lover filming a lover thing so much better
Boring video from a boring artist,and why is Common on rubbish like this,he has done such better duets,with Lauryn for example [song with real depth and meaning],not like Stone’s mindless pop!!
She has terrible lyrics,which are being made to sound better by the hiphop beats!!!

I personally love this song, just recently heard it on the radio. The video could’ve been better, but I’m feelin Joss’ music and style these days. And putting Common on this track was a good look.

Ever since Dallas Austin, dissed her some of you have been talking about her being fake, and this and that…when she first came out she was like this…I don’t see a problem with it. Her album is doing well…and she has a fan base who supports her.
The song is great, different from all the other bull that’s on the radio…2 thumps up!

DONT BE FOOLED BY EVERYTHING PPL,its a ploy the record companies have used for years,putting the RIAA sign up when its only for shipment,its to get ppl thinking more ppl have bought it than actually have!!
Beyonce is RIAA 3XPLATINUM,when in fact its only at 2.7 million

Hmm,its better than her last one,but still nothing special.Used to like her,but dont now,she’s too arrogant,and I agree with what u say Steve,cos I actually know the ppl who’s songs were ”taken” and they were not happy.
Its very true also,that the album has sold 305,000 not 500,000.The record company always do that,they use it to draw ppl in,so if a customer sees a GOLD/PLATINUM sign,they may be more tempted to buy it..but yes,its only at 305,000 in usa so far!
She for me,has just turned into the same old run of the mill poptart really,there are far better artists,yes she can sing,but there are much deeper artists about who can also sing

The video is okay Joss just has awkward manerisms. And, when she performed this on AOL she was annoying to watch but, Common held his ground and did his thing even though she looked like she was some creepy thing coming after him, but aside from that her voice is amazing. And I love Common’s verse it is great!

What Steve said was,stone claimed to have written the songs on the album,inc this song,when in fact ppl like NOVEL wrote the song,and NOVEL gave an interview where he backed up all the claims Dallas Austin made,ie,she slept with him [NOVEL],she tried to swindle him out of his due money/credits,and that she acted like spoilt brat during the recording.
THAT is what steve is saying.
Steve also says tht stone’s album is full of things tht rip off other artists [this songs intro sounds very much like NO WOMAN NO CRY by FUGEES/STEVE MARLEY..Her album cover was too similar to KELIS'...And this video is the same concept of a lover filming a lover,as KANYE-ALL FALLS DOWN]
Steve also makes a great point about her album,allegedly being GOLD [500,000] when in fact the actual SALES are only 305,000,but they have shipped out 500,000 [sent 500,000 to the shops]
Record companies are certifying albums on the strength of how many they send to stores,and not on their actual sales.Stone sells around 22,000 a week,so she still has some way to go until her SALES hit 500,000

NOVEL is ALONZO STEPHENSON,grandson of SOLOMON BURKE and the guy who wrote THIS TRACK and her track MUSIC
He actually wrote them for STACIE ORRICO,they were already written before he went to Barbados to work with Stone!!
SHE claims to have co-wrote songs that she DIDNT!!

Typical ignorant fashion of a Stone fan,slagging ppls views when they have no clue
Novel and his writing partner Tony Reyes have worked with some of the biggest and most respected RnB acts in the world.
Stone tried to take an unfair portion of the profits for Novels songs,and when he wouldnt agree to that she tried to have his songs removed from the album.It turned out that his songs were the best songs on the album so she couldnt remove them.So,she decided to swindle him out of money by giving to tracks to Saadiq to re-produce,which meant Novel would not get production money!
Stone also pulled the same trick on a track that BEAU DOZIER did for the album,he wrote/produced it,she gave it to Saadiq too,and when Beau requested it be removed from album,she gave it away on itunes.
If u read the interview with Novel u would see Stone wrote VERY LITTLE for her album,and produced nothing,yet she has credits for it.
Also Saadiq has a long history of taking ppls tracks,re-doing the production and taking the credit.
Go and learn before u attack ppl for stating facts

In simple terms,she and Saadiq were sharing the album splits [profits] so in order to get more money,she gave other ppls work to Saadiq to re-do,which meant more money and credits for her and Saadiq.
The writers/producers were robbed of their due credits and money because of it

She’s 19 and he’s 40. What’s she doing? She was apparently uavailable for comment.Maybe Dallas Austin was right about her….
