Here’s a radio rip of “Shut Up and Drive,” a new track off Rihanna’s third album Good Girl Gone Bad (June 5). After hearing this song and “Hate That I Love You” with Ne-Yo, it sounds like the Barbados beauty is going in a more pop direction instead of the edgy sound that her album title suggests. We want more songs like “Umbrella.”

She’s really confusing. On TRL she said this would be more edgy, and less pop like. The title of the song is edgy/attitude but the song is the opposite. Rihanna go back to the drawing board. Just because u went platinum doesn’t make you a star. Do platinum twice before you get big headed. Damn she already is, BOBBLEHEAD! LOL

This is NOT the real version, this is the version what is gonna be used for commercials, the real version has a different beat, and a different ending!

I like this song a lot! COME ON PEOPLE, we’ve only heard 3 out of the 12 tracks from this album, based on the tracklisting and production of the album, I think the album will be mostly edgy/urban music.

She said there were pop and urban songs on the album so.

i think its safe to say that all or close to most of her fans are girls, and i think they’ll like it, especially white girls (& i say that in the least offensive way possible. i know how some ppl posting comments like to trip.).

I have to agree with number 12. Holdin \’ it down, i am skeptical about this, just like i was skeptical about Unfaithful. New style of music that she hasn’t really went to. There was a similar song like this on her pervious ablum called “Kisses Don’t Lie”, this pop meets rock tune, is new funky and hot. We’ll see what the rest of the album is like the first 3 tracks are straight hits……
