New Mya Album Release Date: September 18

Before the Mya fans throw stones at us, remember we are just the messenger. In some more disappointing news, Mya’s album Liberation has been pushed back yet again. The new release date confirmed by Mya’s label Universal Motown is September 18, 2007. The previous release date had been August 14th. She will be sharing a release date with another Universal artist, Chamillionaire, who is also scheduled for a September 18th release.

    I personally don’t care for Mya. She just doesn’t capture me in any way, shape, or forum. The girl can dance, I’ll give her that but babygirl sounds like a freakin’ mouse when it comes to her voice. Who wants to hear another Cassie in the game! Naw, I’ll pass on it. Where the REAL singers at?

    Most rappers are extrmely misogynist and disrespectful towards women. When female pop artists feature rappers on their tracks 90% of the time they’re shooting themselves in the foot. It shows they have very little respect for themselves, people lose interest and they flop. With the exception of Ciara, Beyonce because they obviously demand respect out of men.

    IT’S OVER!

    There’s 90% of chances that this album won’t be released. And it shouldn’t because a) too many songs leaked and most of them got bad reviews, b) 1st single was too weak, nobody cared for the song and video, c) it’s been two years of announcing release dates, people lose interest.

    Her label is playing her. The girl is trying to promote herself anyway she can, promoting in clubs and things, Mya is a very very hard worker, but it’s been 2 years of pushing back, they’re doing her the same way Def Jam did Foxy Brown with “Ill Na Na 2 : The Fever” and it never came out. Something was going on behind the scenes with Fox but Fox was vocal about it. Something is just wrong with Mya’s situation.

    It’s a wrap, I’m sorry Mya fans but the label is bullsh*tting her, Mya stay strong!! I feel for her, what a shame!! :(

    Yo this album is not comming out she mine as well put it out in 08 redo it go back to the lab. Holler at Ciara or Beyonce for a track. It makes me sick to see Rihanna getting the shine. Follow the Amerie format put it out overseas build a buzz there than comeback to the states cause she killing it over there
