Rap-Up.com || Cassie Working with Kanye and Pharrell on New Album

In case you’ve been wondering what Cassie has been up to, she’s hard at work on her sophomore album, scheduled for release this fall.

“Cassie’s definitely not dropped from Bad Boy,” Diddy said. “She’s in the studio [working on her next album]. So many people are excited to be working with her. … She was just in the studio with Kanye West. She’s going to be doing some stuff with Pharrell. People really understand that she does have some talent and it takes some time to mold it. Everybody’s not perfect. I think she had some rough shows, just being nervous. Sometimes people have to break out of that.”

In addition to recording her next LP on Diddy’s label, Cassie is also one of the new spokesmodels for the Sean John women’s collection, along with ATL actress Lauren London. “It’ll be out in the next four weeks,” Diddy said of the line. Read more at MTV.

^^i can tell. No she has not been signed. she has lables on the table but she cant sign as long as she is still with def jam b/c she is still not out of the contract.

She is already in the studio working with JR, The Runners, Cool & Dre, Danja, Lil Jon as well as newcomers like Ben Franklin & Ryan tedder (timbaland protege) and she already recorded tracks with Rick Ross adn Frankie J.

And plzzzzzzzzz dont compare cassie’s “i have no talnted @ all” ass not with christinas b/c she was nominated 2 grammys and she can sing/dance/act. pllllllllllz Cassie is nothing (not hating)

If she can get a Britney Spears “Slave” type of track off Pharrell I think it would work for her. If she becomes more hip hop culture oriented she might lose a great deal of her fan base because the Mya’s, Christina Milian’s and Ashanti’s are not very popular among the next generation of music listeners because it ostensibly appears they accept the facetious misogynist lifestyle rappers talk about.

Would’ve sold about 150,000
-Kept her dirty cameo w/ Ludacris
-Duet w/ JaRule had been more recent
Would’ve sold about 750,000
-None of those five album sale killing factors ever took place
My point being Christina and Cassie’s 1st albums should not have been in the same sales range but Cassie career wasn’t as destroyed by the hip hop culture as Christina’s who should have sold double what Cassie did.

Christina is very young and made some mistakes but I think she’s going to be extremely successful in her career and to my taste is the most adorable sexiest girl on Earth :)

Christina will be a superstar look how J.Lo started as a back-up dancer and all that nad with 9 her career took off and now she is one of the biggest women in the business and christina is a good girl she doesnt sleep with every man she had a releationship with and she seems very sweet and People Magazine gave her the title for the “most beautiful woman for the age of 25″.

She is working on a new cd, tv show, movie and she is writing 2 books.
