New Music: Nicole Scherzinger f/ T.I. – ‘Whatever U Like’

We posted a seven track preview of Nicole Scherzinger’s album earlier this week and now the Polow Da Don-produced first single has leaked. It’s called “Whatever U Like” and features T.I. We don’t have much to add except that this song is fire and Nicole is about to blow up. Like Sean Garrett said, “She’s hot as a stove [and] her name is Nicole.”

NOTE: Nicole is not the first to use this beat. TLC’s Chilli did a song with Missy Elliott called “Straight Jack” that used the same beat as did Mase. But it worked for Fergie with “Glamorous,” which was originally Gwen Stefani’s “Luxurious (Remix)” (also produced by Polow). Guess Polow be shopping those beats around.

    A. she only sounds good in the opening harmonies.

    B. this beat has already been given to kelis (blindfold me) and chilli.

    Wow I got abit disapointed here! I had hoped for a London Bridge/Steam type track! Not a ”Remix” of a Chilli song that was just ok.

    Doesn’t Nicole deserve more than a recycled beat?

    I haven’t heard chilli’s song but I have heard Kelis’ song and the beat sounds a lot like it!!! Polow really needs to come up with better ideas coz I don’t think it will do any good for his reputation as a beatmaker if this is what he’ll be known for years down the line.

    Half of yall MFers would not have even givin a damn if Chilli had released this song. So I do not know why all of a sudden you wanna say her song is better. Coming from a TLC fan “Straight Jack” sucked. Nicole is marketable and Chilli would probabaly have a hard time with a solo. Most of her stuff sound like old TLC. “Glidin” what type of shit was that. Chilli can not be compared with Nicole. You cannot blame Nicole for the beat blame Polow.

    i love nicoles version. first of all chillis straightjack was so ugh
    me and my friends heard it in the car and just wanted to skip it but we tried listing to it till the end but it wasnt that great and we just skipped it. and nicoles version is much more easy to listen to without saying ugh this song sucks …
    and i like it alot just give it a few more listens. and ppl copy songs and get their songs scrapped all the time. like when fergie took back BIG GIRLS DONT CRY when she gave it to jordan mccoy. paris hilton was offered DONT CHA and Tori Alamaze released her DONT CHA first and that got no attention … so PCD covered it .. who cares … nicole is just making everything bigger than the other ppl. who gives a shit! this is gonna do good i just know it… so stop hating.
