Despite all of Amerie’s success with Because I Love It overseas, it turns out she won’t crack the U.S. market until 2008. Seems like all these record labels are really slacking on their game and opting to drop chicks rather than promote them. Just like poor Mya, Amerie’s third album is on TBD status. Things are not looking good for the songstress over at Columbia Records. Billboard.com reports:

“It’s not currently on Columbia Records’ release schedule, though the label is aiming to issue it early next year.”

Wow, guess she’s just not a priority! While we await her arrival to the U.S., take a listen to one of her tracks below.
