Nelly and Ashanti Update

Nelly will be releasing his fifth studio album Brass Knuckles on November 13th. He recently shot a video for the first single, “Wadsyaname,” with Chris Robinson. The video will debut at the end of this month. Catch him performing the song on tonight’s BET Hip-Hop Awards.

Nelly’s girlfriend Ashanti is busy on an album of her own, but don’t expect it to drop this year. Sources tell staging-rapup.kinsta.cloud that Ashanti’s back in the studio reworking some tracks for the album, now slated for a February 2008 release. The first single, “Hey Baby (After The Club),” went for radio adds this week.
