Trina Proves She’s ‘Still The Baddest’

On February 12, 2008, Trina will reclaim her throne as the “Baddest Bitch” in the music biz when her fourth album Still The Baddest arrives in stores. Beyoncé to Release ‘LIVE!’ DVD

Music World Music/Columbia Records will release The Beyoncé Experience LIVE!, a deluxe DVD capturing all the excitement of Beyoncé’s world concert tour, The Beyoncé Experience, on Tuesday, November 20th.

Recorded on September 2, 2007 during Beyoncé’s performance at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, The Beyoncé Experience LIVE! DVD contains Beyoncé’s full concert performance — more than 2 hours of music — and includes performances by Jay-Z as well as the reunion of Destiny’s Child.

Mary J. Blige Update

Mary J. Blige will release her eighth studio album Growing Pains on November 27th. The album features production from Timbaland, Stargate, Jazze Pha, and “Tricky” Stewart. Songwriters include Ne-Yo, The-Dream, and Sean Garrett.

The video for the album’s first single, “Just Fine,” will premiere later this month. Chris Applebaum (Rihanna’s “Umbrella”) directed it.

Mary will embark on a headline tour beginning in early 2008.

Jay-Z Launches American Gangster Live Tour

According to AllHipHop.com, Jay-Z will embark on the American Gangster Live tour, a five-date outing in support of his upcoming album, American Gangster. Jay-Z will treat fans to exclusive shows in mid-sized, intimate venues in Los Angeles, Chicago, Baltimore, New York, and Philadelphia, where he will perform songs from his new album. The rapper will kick off the tour at the House of Blues in Los Angeles on November 6th, the same day the American Gangster album hits stores.

Video: 50 Cent Impersonates Kanye West

50 Cent surprised fans when he did an impromptu performance at Philadelphia’s Powerhouse show where Kanye West, Eve, Rihanna, and Cassidy were also on the bill. Check out this video of 50 imitating Kanye. According to one concertgoer, Fiddy pulled out a pair of white glasses, tightened his shirt, and danced to “Stronger” like he was Mr. West. LOL!
