Rap-Up.com || Report: Kanye West’s Mother Passes Away

According to Miss Info via HHNLive.com, Kanye West’s mother Dr. Donda West passed away in Los Angeles earlier today, November 11th. She was 58 years old.

Unconfirmed reports are saying that Donda West recently had some sort of surgical procedure (sources say a tummy tuck) and responded negatively to a medication taken in connection with the surgery.

Reports suggest Kanye West was in London when news of his mother’s passing was given to him. He is currently on his way back to the United States.

Kanye maintained a very close relationship with his mother, even dedicating a song to her on Late Registration called “Hey Mama.” Donda West was a retired college professor and had written a book, Raising Kanye, which was released on Pocket Books earlier this year.

We had the pleasure of meeting Donda on one occasion and she was a lovely woman. Our deepest condolences go out to Kanye and his family.

I want to send my condolences to Kanye West as well This is very sad news, I pray that he can cope with this. And that the media can give him time to do so. This is really a very sad story.
