“You probably don’t even want to ask me that right now. That’s how I feel abut it. I personally love some of the people that work [at Columbia Records] in the UK… but I really don’t want to talk about it ’cause I want to keep it all positive, you feel me?”
–Amerie tells UK magazine RWD on the current situation with her record label Columbia Records. Amerie’s third album Because I Love It has not performed very well in the UK and has yet to see a U.S. release date.

Honestly she has good cd’s all consistant great music. It’s a shame how they do urban female artist. I’m mean honestly nothing against Beyonce (love her as well) but she the cash cow over at columbia and that a machine that hard to go against. She is what britney was to jive. I feel bad for Amerie and Mya, and others. It sucks thou she a great artist and that was a good CD. “Paint Me Over” or Street alone would have been great singles.

If she really wants to keep it positive she’s got to stop being a bitch to the people at the label.
