SONG: Not the best choice for a first single but definitely catchy. The lyrics are a little embarrassing but the beat will definitely stick in your head.

VIDEO: Uneventful mid nineties R&B video clone; however, the night scene on the hood of the car is a nice little atmospheric touch.

ADVICE: Should have come a lot harder especially since “I Love You” did not have much of an impact on the charts last year.
-”I’m Cheri Dennis” would have been a great intro track.
-”Freak” featuring Babs should have been the first single but shockingly does not appear on the album; however, it can be purchased as a single on iTunes.
-”When I’m Gone” featuring Loon would have definitely persuaded me to buy the album (Loon being dropped from Bad Boy most likely played a part in the track’s absence.)

VERDICT: For a girl who has been with bad boy since the late 90’s, it’s nice to see she is finally get her chance to shine; though you won’t need sunglasses.
