Video: Kelly Rowland f/ Travis McCoy – ‘Daylight’
“Daylight” is the new single from Kelly Rowland. It features Travis McCoy of Gym Class Heroes. The song is set to be included on an upcoming re-release of Kelly’s sophomore album Ms. Kelly as well as the soundtrack to the French film Astérix Aux Jeux Olympiques. We don’t know much about the film, but the song doesn’t seem to go with the movie based on the clips. WTF?

Kelly is a beautiful godiva… shes reps 4 the chocolates… shes too pretty.. i love it…. the song is ok… but @ least she looks amazing in the video…

Okay – so I have two questions. First of which: How many singles come out for films whereby the song and movie are remotely related??? Let’s see “Check Up On It” just shouts Pink Panther, didn’t it??? Second question – rather a comment, everyone seems resolved to talk about Kelly Rowland no matter what she does. With fans like that, there’s no telling that her album didn’t do well!!! Now the quality of music should be the major determinant of a cd’s success, but the willingness of the audience to listen also plays a role. Give her music a chance before your quick to write it off – you might like by accident.

the movie is about a french comic figure named asterix. the song is pretty cool but indeed doesn’t go with the movie (because it takes place in the roman empire)

I like the song….and the video for the most part but those clips from the movie look so out of place in the video. Since I dont think the movie will be showing in the US maybe the US video premiere will be without those clips…..Or maybe this is just a European single….(prays to god).
