Monica Gives Birth to Second Son

Monica gave birth to her second son on Tuesday afternoon in Atlanta. The baby weighed in at 5 pounds, 6 ounces. As of now, he doesn’t have a first name, but his middle name is Montez (named after Monica’s brother).

The R&B singer was reportedly recording her new album right up until the baby’s birth and has about 13 songs completed.

Monica and boyfriend Rodney Ramone Hill, Jr. have a two-and-a-half-year-old, Rodney Ramone Hill III, whom they call Lil’ Rock.
