I think this sounds nothing like that could had been on 20YO. This is so much better! I’ve already heard snippets of every song on “discipline” and they are all great! This is album is better than 20Y in my opinion. It’s a new & fresh sound for Janet!

Nothing like Damita Jo sound. Very current. Very fresh. Can anyone else hear a tribal beat in the background of this track? Unline any other Janet track, I believe. I like it, but it will need to grow on me a little more.

The album is 7.5 out of 10 for me. I will tell u for those who haven’t herd “2nite” from the album, its a great track. In terms of vocals on some of the soft/slow jams j could have been a little better, but the album will do better than 20.y.o and Damita jo combined. This will b a better yaer for her as long as she stays w/the plans for the summer tour and keeps the promo coming.

@lashea/those who have shit to say, STFU please, why do u ppl act like janet should b having hit after hit each time. yeah, her time has passed so has madonna, Whitney, Celine, Cher, Tina, and all the other divas of music. Its beyonce’e and riri’s turn to shine and thats ok; thats how life is so all of u who have so much to say please get over ur self. Janet is making music cause she wants to and there r fans who still want it even though they have grown up w/ families and careers. The woman has sold over 100 million albums & over almost 60 million singles world wide.
