Janet Jackson has been hospitalized with the flu, according to PEOPLE.

“She’s fine,” says the rep. “She’s just battling this crazy flu like everyone else.”

Jackson, 41, whose new album Discipline debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart last week and recently announced plans to write a diet book, was taken to a Los Angeles hospital Monday night.
