June 24: Nelly vs. The Game

Move over 50 and Kanye. Looks like we have another hip-hop chart battle on our hands. Nelly will release his fourth album Brass Knuckles on June 24th, the same day The Game’s third album Los Angeles Times drops. Nelly’s album features the Polow Da Don club banger “Party People” with Fergie, while Game recently released the Cool & Dre-produced street anthem “Big Dreams.”

Who will rule the charts come June? Place your bets.

    When Game was with G-Unit, he was huge. But after he left and with all the feuding, his hype definitely went down. His 2nd album actually didn’t do so well compared to what people were predicting. Nelly on the other hand has always held his own and has turned into a mainstream rap-star. So I think Nelly will come out on top for sure!
