Rap-Up.com || Album Cover: Lil Wayne

At first we were a little skeptical, but we have confirmed with Universal Motown that this is the official album cover for Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter III, which has been pushed back from May 13th to June 10th.

NO! Why was it pushed back, “Lollipop” is doing great on the charts.

i respect the hell out of that man hes one of my idols forreal but why push back the album again i’ve been waiting on this album since the Carter 2(2005)thats a long time to me:(.(sigh) i jus hope he doesn’t end up like Mya and keep pushing it back.

I think this album cover is very, very cool!
It’s a very smart marketingmove to use a cover like this because it gets your attention and it’s really original. At the same time, other legends like Nas and BIG have used their childhood photo’s, this is on a ohter level.
You gotta give credit to the guy..Untill now he does everything completly different than what we would have expected for carter3. He keeps us talking about it. Everybody dissin Lollipop but it’s a pretty big hit and now this cover…haha! Very smart marketing! I respect him as an artist. No not the best but the guy is creative and no other like him. I’m very much looking forward to carter3!
