Three 6 Mafia has released a video for the group’s new single “I’d Rather” featuring DJ Unk. The song can be found on Three 6′s new album Last 2 Walk out June 24th (another 6/24 release).

J.D. has posted a new video blog entry with him, Usher, Jay-Z, and Anthony Hamilton in the studio working on Usher’s new album Here I Stand (May 27).

Video: Mariah’s MTV Promo Commercials

Mariah is MTV’s “Artist of the Week” as part of their 52 Bands/52 Weeks campaign. She has done a series of promo commercials which can be viewed above and below. Some star her dog Jack Jr. voiced by Snoop Dogg.

Mariah will be all over TV this week appearing on “Oprah” today and “American Idol” tomorrow and Wednesday. In honor of E=MC², the Empire State Building will be lit in Mariah’s album colors (purple, pink, and white) from April 25th through April 27th.

Video: The Roots f/ Patrick Stump – ‘Birthday Girl’

The Roots don’t appear at all in their video for “Birthday Girl” featuring Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy. Instead, the video features porn star Sasha Grey. The band’s new album Rising Down drops April 29th. It features collabos with Wale, Chrisette Michele, and Mos Def.
