Here’s some new music from Nas’ highly controversial album Nigger, due out this summer. The song was co-produced by Salaam Remi and Big Jack.
The hook is borrowed from old Dr. Pepper commercials: “I’m a Pepper, he’s a Pepper, she’s a Pepper, we’re a pepper / Wouldn’t you like to be a Pepper too?” Dr. Pepper must be thrilled.

very irresponsible, I will NOT buy this album. we’re the only race trying to make a racial slur popular. we need to get it together.

all yall ni@@az hatin, STOP. This man has his own artistic view. You on here like, you DONT use the term or have never been around it/ corrected someone using it. Get SERIOUS!! This is reality. His meaning could just be to make yall realize how derogarory and ongoing the struggle against it is. Mad respect for him being real, than to hear it come out of everybodys ignorant mouths on the streets

Take some chill pills. Just because I and others disagree with what he does doesn’t make us haters, and certainly not “n***az” but I see I struck a nerve. The truth hurts that bad? No, REALITY is this word being overused like that will not make blacks and non-blacks “realize” anything, it will pollute the minds of people like it’s been happening for more than 20 years. “Ch*nk” and “sp*c” aren’t used freely and automatically like its cool, but we made that ish popular. Only blacks, and it really reflects how we value ourselves as a people.
