MTV’s ‘Hottest MCs in the Game’ 2008

MTV aired their “Hottest MCs in the Game” special for the second year in a row on Friday. Below is the list of the top 10 MCs right now as chosen by the MTV News Hip-Hop Brain Trust. When picking the list, the MTV News panel looked at the most prominent MCs of the past year or so.

9. André 3000 (#4 in 2007)
8. Young Jeezy (#6 in 2007)
7. Lupe Fiasco (not on 2007’s list)
6. 50 Cent (#8 in 2007)

    this list is a joke hu is andre 3000 he is so swag rick ross ent dat gd da rest i agree wiv but not in dat order no way.

    #1 The Game (Why is he so underated in America)
    #2 Lil’ Wayne, Young Jeezy (Lil’ Wayne is hot but Young Jeezy is murking every track he features on so I dno dem 2 around da same)
    The rest can be left the same Kanye at #4 or 3?

    What da F–k. Where is common on that list. Finding forever was one of the best albums that dropped. Leaving him out is like saying
    f–k hip hop.
