Chauncey Black of old school R&B group BLACKstreet has gone solo. “Remember him from BLACKstreet? He was black as the street was,” Kanye West raps in “Everything I Am.”

“Everyday is Your Birthday” is Chauncey’s debut single from his forthcoming solo album. He is signed to Busta Rhymes’ Flipmode label in a joint venture with Geffen. Look for a Busta cameo at the end.
