Brooklyn rapper Q aka Q Da Kid has been announced as the first artist signed to Jermaine Dupri’s TAG Records. The MC, born Kareem Savage, will be part of a multi-million dollar record deal between Procter & Gamble and Island Def Jam.

According to Hits Daily Double, Q is a former member of Da Franchise and was first signed to J.D.’s So So Def in 2006. He is a frequent mixtape contributor and has been heard on remixes for Fabolous, Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige, and Trey Songz.
