Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon dined at Japanese restaurant Nobu in Malibu on Thursday night. Mariah recently announced that she will be going on tour this fall.

Is it just me or does it seem like Mariah & her label are doing 10x less the promotion for this album than they did for “The Emancipation of Mimi”?

^ No, I agree. When her album first came out you couldn’t avoid seeing a billboard, a commercial, or MC’s face on tv. It all changed when she got married. I guess people are less interested? Btw, I love Mimi.

When she releases, Migrate, I Stay in Love, Love Story, For the Record, or That Chick, her album sales are gonna be crazy.

Mariah took time out to get married. She said she is in a very happy place now and sounds like dollar amount or record sales are not going to interfere with her happiness! She hasn’t really been out there promoting anything since she got married! She obviously has been spending more time to nurture that happiness which bodes well for her and Nick.
