The 2008 MTV Video Music Awards nominees for Best Male Video and Best Female Video were announced today on “FNMTV.” Click below to see who was nominated.

BEST MALE VIDEO
Lil Wayne – Lollipop
Chris Brown – With You
Usher – Love in This Club
Flo Rida – Low
T.I. – No Matter What

BEST FEMALE VIDEO
Britney Spears – Piece of Me
Katy Perry – I Kissed A Girl
Jordin Sparks – No Air
Rihanna – Take a Bow
Mariah Carey – Touch My Body

Over the next four weeks, fans can cast their votes at vma.mtv.com for VMA categories including Best Hip-Hop Video, Best Pop Video, Best Rock Video, Best New Artist, and Video of the Year.

The 2008 MTV Video Music Awards will air live from Paramount Pictures Studios in Los Angeles on September 7th and will be hosted by British comedian Russell Brand.

With everything Britney has gone through in the last year, she deserves to win ‘Best Female Video’. The fact that Brit delivered an amazing album like “Blackout” during that whole mess is a good enough reason for her to win. It’s too bad that fans can’t vote for the winner because Brit would def win, she’s got the biggest fanbase out of the other three ladies.

what the hell mtv Nominees is so wack for this OK the pop mtv icon what about janet jackson feedback that video was so mtv shit and the best and madonna 4 mins come on now and the princess Ashanti she kill in the video i guess we have to see all the Nominees i know she gonna be at least one she had one of the 1 smash singles out mtv anyway the vma goin down anyway what ms britney did live last year how can u get someone who even not there self mind u know to open up the show come on now i hope they top last year with this mess
