Partygoers will have to wait a little longer. Missy Elliott is still in the studio cooking up her seventh studio album Block Party. The album had previously been scheduled for a September release, but Rap-Up.com has exclusively learned that Missy needs more time to record.

Atlantic Records in now eyeing a Thanksgiving release for the album, but a specific date has yet to be confirmed. Stay tuned.
