Speaking on behalf of myself because I can’t speak for anyone else. There is a joy in songwriting that’s unexplainable with just words.Songwriters hear the music FIRST, well after the producer has passed down the track of course. However I feel those such as Ne-YO, Keri Hilson, Ryan Leslie & Sean Garrett have great voices and that will take them even farther in their music careers. I’m looking forward to the release of all of their “LP’s”!

That’s exactly why all I want to be is a songwriter. Some people desire both, most know that those in the background do make more money and get paid first without having to deal with the limelight and all that comes with.

besides the fact that you technically make more $$ when in the background, being in front of the mic is only for a select few…im trying to think of it now: how many songwriters have flopped their careers trying to make it as artists?
