After canceling nine shows due to an illness, Janet Jackson has announced that she will return to the road for her Rock Witchu Tour on Wednesday, October 15th in Washington, D.C. Janet left a message for her fans addressing all the cancelation rumors.
“I know you guys have been hearing a lotta, lotta rumors… [that] the tour’s been canceled. None of that’s true. I’m actually rolling into D.C. right now to do my first show coming back. I feel a lot better and I want to thank all of you. I really do appreciate the love and the support. And once again, don’t believe anything that you hear and you read. The tour is still on,” Janet said via a voice message on SayNow.com.
ET Online reports that Janet suffers from a rare form of migraine headache called vestibular migraine, which induces the sensation of vertigo.
The 42-year-old singer is currently receiving treatment for the migraines and is “feeling much better and is ready to hit the road again to finish the tour,” according to her rep.
