Hip-hop’s elite came together for a night of collaborations at the 2008 BET Hip-Hop Awards. T-Pain filled in for Katt Williams as host for the evening and unforgettable moments were made including a performance by one-time foes T.I. and Ludacris (above).
T-Pain performed “Can’t Believe It” with Lil Wayne and “Chopped N Skrewed” with Ludacris.
MC Lyte, Yo-Yo, The Lady of Rage, Salt-N-Pepa, and Spinderella did an old school hip-hop medley.
Plies and Ne-Yo busted out “Bust It Baby, Pt. 2.”
N.E.R.D. and Common wowed with “Universal Mind Control” and “Spaz.”
Rick Ross brought out Nelly and Avery Storm for “Here I Am.”
J.D., Soulja Boy, and Bow Wow turned their swag on.
Ciara and LL Cool J kicked it backstage.
Busta Rhymes was decked out in pink Louis Vuitton.
Young Jeezy got stately during his performance of “My President.”
Nas impressed with “Queens Get the Money” and “Hero.”
Lil Wayne was named Lyricist of the Year, MVP of the Year, and People’s Champ.
Bow Wow and Soulja Boy traded verses and closed the show with “Marco Polo.”
