Rap-Up.com || On Set of Brandy’s ‘Long Distance’ Video

Brandy shot the video for her second single “Long Distance” on Thursday at the Park Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles. Chris Robinson directed the clip from her forthcoming album Human (Dec. 9).

Rap-Up TV will have behind-the-scenes video from the shoot soon, but here are some exclusive on-set photos in the meantime.

I loved “Right Here (Departed)”, it’s too bad that it never really became a hit. I was expecting more from “Long Distance” but maybe with time, it’ll grow on me.

I am so sick and tired of all these ignorant ass people making stupid ass remarks about brandy and how she\’s gonna flop and whatever other negative comments that they have to say. Some of you are right, this is a new era. It\’s the era of having no talent and good looks and becoming a star. It\’s the era of how good you look in your clothes and who you\’re dating that makes you big. brandy has done everything these chicks out here are doing already. She\’s won the grammy, she\’s had hits, she was a covergirl, she was a model for dkny, she had a top t.v. show, she hit the box office, numerous endorsements ,she\’s won numerous awards. She\’s rich. She does this for the love of it. If Mariah can come back and stay afloat in this new era, so can brandy. Stop hating on her for doing what she loves. No one supports each other. All people do is hate and judge the next person. You haters must be so unhappy in your own lives that you sit here and type negative comments about someone. Go find something productive to do with all that negative energy because brandy will be alright!!!

oh and aspade there are no female r&b artists out right now that will sing brandy under any rug. beyonce has more range but her voice is not soulful enough; she does more yelling than singing, you cant even put ciara or rihanna in that category, keisha cole, kelly rowland and michelle dont even compare. the only people that can compete with brandy voice wise is monica and jazmin sullivan. Those other chicks got a lot of catching up to do. aspade you must have not listened to any of brandy\’s album or better yet you dont even know good music or real soul when you hear it. brandy has her own style that other artists try to emulate. Ask all the above mentioned who has influenced them musically. keisha cole, rihanna, ciara, and kelly rowland have all said brandy numerous times.

I love Brandy. Her life shows the power of God. When she fell, she didn\’t stay down. She got back up and continued to push forward. I\’m not the kind of person that knocks others down. I feel that when you see people tryin got move up, you don\’t push them down and put your foot on their back to try and keep them down. You help them rise up. If I meet Brandy, i\’m gonna tell her that God is with you girl. Don\’t listen to what people say about you. You don\’t need to know what people are sayin about you because that will take your joy girl. Keep your head up, and keep focused on what you have to do. That what I would say to her.
