Akon weighs in on the Lady GaGa vs. Christina Aguilera comparisons. “I definitely feel that Christina Aguilera is very inspired by Lady GaGa. It’s almost identical,” he tells Rap-Up TV about Christina’s uncanny resemblance to his Konlive artist, who currently has a top 5 hit with “Just Dance.” “She was never doing that before Lady GaGa came out.”

Plus, he gives us the scoop on signing TLC’s Chilli to his label and the possibility of a Grammy for his camp.

Akon needs to shut his mouth. He’s practically saying that Christina stole Lady GaGa’s look. Please, Christina does not need to copy some one hit wonder in order to reinvent herself. Besides, she doesn’t even have that hairstyle anymore. At the end of the day, Christina will keep on making hits and eventually becoming a legend. As for Lady GaGa, i really don’t see her career going anywhere. I can see her doing big things behind the scenes though, she is a good songwriter.

Lady Gaga came up with this glam rock/bowie-esque look way before Xtina. I have seen her perform in New York clubs before with that look exactly the same time Xtina was channeling Traci Lords (the porn look). Xtina definitely copied lady gaga\\\’s look. No wonder Madonna wouldn\\\’t even endorse or support her. She may have the voice but zero marketability.

I find it funny how Christina fans flock her to defend her. The hairstyle isn’t the issue, the music is.
Christina can copy GaGa all she likes, or she can do her own take on “futuristic” pop music, either way Keeps Gettin’ Better and Dynamite come nowhere near the standard of GaGa’s “The Fame” album.
Christina is a total bitch. She was to Britney without Britney saying anything, and now she’s slagging off GaGa. If anything it comes off as a clear defense mechanism of actually knowing herself that she is copying or following a similar style to a new artist.

christina hasnt released anymore singles after keeps getting better because she was only promoting her greatest hits..its not an official new album and there wont be 1 till mid 2009.

Lady GaGa uses the blonde bangs/80s inspired pop look as her solid look.
All your comparisons to Xtina and Gwen are from a single moment (eg from their video clips) and basically all artists have had bang at some point but now Christina is having it as her general look like Lady GaGa.
Watching Xtina\’s vma performance the flashing screen in the beginning, the hair, the costume, the makeup are all similar to Lady GaGa\’s performances and isnt it a coincidence that Xtina decides to try some futuristic electronic pop in her album just after Lady GaGa does.
Xtina has been ripping off peoples styles for a while, we all remember the Marylon Monroe look…..
