Rap-Up.com || Ciara Better Than ‘Ever’ on New Single

Rihanna and Beyoncé may have owned 2008, but 2009 is all about Ciara. The R&B hottie gave you a taste of her new album with the T-Pain-produced “Go Girl,” but she’s saved the best for next year.

Rap-Up.com has exclusively learned that Ciara has chosen “Never Ever” featuring fellow ATLien Young Jeezy as the next single from her third LP Fantasy Ride. The track was co-produced by Polow Da Don (“Promise”) and Elvis “BlacElvis” Williams (Beyoncé’s “Ego”) and will be released to radio in early ’09, while the album will follow in spring.

Fantasy Ride is the follow-up to 2006′s Ciara: The Evolution, which debuted at No. 1 and spawned the hit singles “Promise,” “Like a Boy,” and “Can’t Leave ‘Em Alone” featuring 50 Cent.

^^^^First of all I\’m a dude and if I was not telling the truth you would not be mad at me!
Come seriously ciara is only famous in the US. And that bothers me, because she has mass crossover appeal. She just needs to get out of her comfort zone. This is her thirth album, this is the album that should make her the worlwide superstar( A La Rihanna), she is able to become.

Why do you think Kelly Rowland is right now recording here in europe?
Because she too has the potential to be big star(athough she\’s already quite big here) and she realized it.

Ciara is my girl and I see bigger things for her.

While I like Ciara and am not biased against her, I think it is premature and incorrect to say that 2009 is Ciara’s year. I’ve heard her new released songs and the leaked songs along with ‘Go Girl’ featuring T-Pain, and they were sub-par at best. Her album has been pushed back to get her better songs, which i think is a great move because the competition is fierce for ’09. Beyonce is just getting started with her singles, and as we ALL know, we’ll be hearing them ’til the year 2020.haha Britney just released her second single a couple of weeks ago and has many more singles to release(“Kill the Lights” is NUTS Danja hopped on to produce that track). Christina is recording an album in’09, as is Rihanna. So ’09 can go to any one of them. Ciara may have a hit single in 2009, for her sake i hope so, but with her against those ladies, she might be big in the RnB/Hip-Hop charts, but won’t stand a chance against artists that appeal to everyone/all radio stations. Not to put her down, she’s had some good singles, but I’m just being realistic. People said the same thing about 2008 being Ashanti’s year…..we ALL know how that turned out. Is 2009 Ciara’s year? Absolutely not.

If you had fully read and understood my previous comment, then you would have known better than to call me out and say that I was \’hating\’. I JUST said that i liked some of her songs, but was weary about the success of her next album judging by the newest material that she, herself put out to be on this album. This is what is so annoying about you and some other people who are writing on this page: Not everybody who has a different opinion than you is a \’hater\’. I understand being a fan and sticking with an artist through thick and thin, BUT perfect music CAN NOT be put out all the time. She has some hits and she has some misses. She had a MISS with her songs w/Luda and T-Pain (Go Girl was better than high price), but you would be delusional to say that it was a knock out hit. Just because people don\’t believe that everything she utters turns to Platinum does not make me a hater, it makes me smart. I love Beyonce and Rihanna as well, but to say that I love everything that they put out would be a lie. Ciara gets no special treatment just because she is Ciara. If Beyonce put out \’Go Girl\’ as a single, i would call her out and say she could do better. I enjoy cici\’s music as much as i do rihanna\’s and beyonce\’s. However I refuse to agree with those who feel that 2009 is ciara\’s year!!!

2009 belongs to whomever has the hottest song next year, no one knows who that will be. It might be ciara, bey, riri, or it could be someone else who hasn\’t even come out yet..
