We told you about it first, now listen to Ciara’s catchy new single “Never Ever,” which samples Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes’ “If You Don’t Know Me By Now.” The Polow Da Don and Elvis “BlacElvis” Williams-produced slow jam features Super C’s fellow ATL native Young Jeezy. The follow-up to “Go Girl” will appear on Ciara’s third album Fantasy Ride, due out this spring.

i know half of u are sayin “she shudda did an umptempo” blah blah blah! if she does an uptempo all the time ppl are gunna limit her and get sick of her. she’s catering to another audience with this song. this song will blow up because it’s pop and she’s showcasing her improved vocals, sooo some of you are so closed-minded expecting the same thing, give it a chance.

Not sure how i feel about this one yet. It’s alright. Maybe it’ll grow on me? Definitely an improvement over ‘Go Girl’, but I can’t see this song taking her to the next level like she needs. It’s alright though.

you don’t sample a classic song if your ass cannot hold a note. this girl voice only have one tone and if she tries to change
it she sound like shit. I know they’re going to call this a first single, and pretend like go girl wasn’t,but it doesn’t fit a first single especially from someone who’s not know for singing. 3/10

Its different. I was also expecting an unptempo song but Ciara can do those in her sleep. If the video is anything as hot as her other monster ballad Promise she’s home free.

I can’t wait to hear the whole album.

it took me two times to listen and it really grew on me this song is pretty catchy i remember when ushers love in this club came out it did the same thing then everybody went with it. This is that type of song except not as uptempo more midtempo. Very radio friendly. I know her next single will be an uptempo that everyone will be more familiar with

I had to listen to it a couple times to actually say it\’s a decent song, which is not a bad thing. The songs that you automatically like after first listen are the ones that you get tired of quicker. Anyway, I really hope Ciara hits it big this year cause I really want that damn album. This is a hit. Some people ^ cannot get over the fact that Ciara is not just a uptempo singer, she can deliver mid-tempo records, which definitely has this time. Its gonna be # 1 no doubt especially when the video is released. Im so glad she is back, cuz im dying for Fantasy Ride..Get Em C!
