Rap-Up.com || Ciara Sets April Date for ‘Fantasy Ride’

Ciara’s Fantasy Ride is back on track and headed your way. After a few delays, the third album from the R&B singer will be released in April.

The “Goodies” hitmaker has recruited an all-star ensemble including Christopher “Tricky” Stewart, Danja, Polow Da Don, Rodney Jerkins, Missy Elliott, Ludacris (“High Price”), and Justin Timberlake for the comic book-inspired album.

Fans can also expect a few surprises. “[There's] a couple people I haven’t shared yet, but I can’t wait to reveal them,” Super C told MTV News.

Ciara’s new Polow Da Don and Elvis Williams-produced single “Never Ever” features Young Jeezy. Listen below.

I cant wait! This album is going to be awesome, ciara’s promised her fans as close to perfection as possible w/this album so its definitly exciting. Cant wait for ciara to tear up the scene in 09!!

She needs to sit her ass down. “Go Girl” was horrible, and it flopped. “Never Ever” is a boring mess. On top of that, she can’t sing. Her career is over. Bye Ciara.

‘Never Ever’ really grew on me & I love it! The song is simple yet very catchy, I’m sure it will do great on the airwaves. I’m still anticipating her album for sure.

THIRD ALBUMS ARE ALWAYS THE BIG CAREER MAKERS FOR LOTS OF ARTISTS. (RIHANNA, BEYONCE, ETC.)

well she used to be good but not anymore! all im saying is that shes got a new album out in april with quite a few songs already leaked and theyre supposed to the main tracks, the rest must be rubbish! just cuz shes collaborating with huge stars doesnt mean teh tracks will be good , may not even be singles!

I think an artist’s second album really determine whether they’re going to last or not, not their third album. Anyways, let’s hope that this single doesn’t flop or we can expect another album push.
