Keri Hilson Turns Out Lexus Listening Lounge

Lexus hosted a listening lounge at the eco-friendly Smog Shoppe in Los Angeles on Wednesday night. The event honored Kawanna Brown, COO of Magic Johnson Enterprises, and featured a special performance by Keri Hilson. Gospel artists Mary Mary, Tank, and Teairra Mari were among those in attendance.

Keri performed her current hits as well as new tracks from her debut album In a Perfect World—, in stores March 24. Opening with her most notable song yet, “The Way I Are,” the singer-songwriter followed with newer cuts including “Slow Dance,” “Where Did He Go?,” “Alienated,” and an uptempo song called “How Does It Feel?” Of course, Ms. Keri also pleased the crowd with her singles “Energy” and chart-climber “Turnin’ Me On.” She exited the stage with a huge smile and a bow, “Thank you and good night!”

    Yeah,… I met her before once in L.A. at a Musical Conference Last Year in 2008…. I must say, I told her she was a beautiful lady… I must add, she really is exceptional…. A woman’s woman…and a Lady’s lady. She has real class… And, she is really nice just like she looks on the cameras……

    And, Unexpectingly….. She was very approachable… Sometimes, I like to think that it was me… All Jokes aside….. She is really nice something you don’t have to guess about… “Yo, Keri… I hope I see you again…. This time, maybe a chance to talk a little more… I didn’t even know who you were… Peace out girl… I’ll see you when I get up there!!”
