Rap-Up.com || Lil Wayne Rocks Out with Fall Out Boy

Lil Wayne has collaborated with Fall Out Boy for his new album Rebirth, Rap-Up.com has learned.

The rapper cut a track with Pete Wentz’s band for his first rock release, which is now due out May 19.

Weezy previously lent his vocals to Fall Out Boy’s latest album Folie à Deux on the track “Tiffany Blews.” He also did a remix to the group’s hit “This Ain’t a Scene, It’s an Arms Race” and performed with them at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards.

A video for Rebirth’s first single “Prom Queen” was shot at a high school in L.A.’s San Fernando Valley last week. Dave Meyers and Wayne co-directed.

I really want to support Lil Wayne with this album but “Prom Queen” is really bad. It’s also doing weak on the charts, it’s already almost out of the top 50 on the Hot 100.

Wayne knows how to get to the money and to the person that said prom queen is not doing good on the charts we must be looking at two different charts because the one i seen he was doing way better than expected.

i am really worried bout this album, prom queen is a pretty gd song but it isnt promoting the album as I expected, after 3 weeks of release prom queen is gettin less and less recongition , i find lil wayne amazing but this song isnt the “bang” everyone was expecting, i personally like the song but its not doing so good for now….

wtf. fob is not PETE WENTZ’S BAND. he is not the most important member in fob. i’m so sick of people thinking pete is the sole reason why fob is hot. hello? what about the lead singer, the awesome vocalist patrick stump???

oh, and i’m glad weezy is doing rock. i might actually listen to his music now. :D

I like his idea. its different and has a lot of potential. But prom queen really did suck. I am anxious to hear some new tracks off the Rebirth and i hope the cd doesn’t flop.
