Beyoncé to Perform at the Oscars...Again!
Beyoncé will reportedly perform at Sunday’s Academy Awards in what is supposed to be one of the many surprises of the night.
The pop star confirmed the news to FOX News’ Roger Friedman, who says she has been rehearsing with Dreamgirls director Bill Condon and Moulin Rouge director Baz Luhrmann. She will be joined by Oscar host Hugh Jackman, High School Musical stars Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, and Mamma Mia!‘s Amanda Seyfried in a song-and-dance number.
Beyoncé is no stranger to the Oscars. She previously performed at the 2005 ceremony and again in 2007 with Jennifer Hudson for her Oscar-nominated film Dreamgirls.
Beyoncé’s Columbia Records labelmate, John Legend, will also take the stage, according to his official website.
The 81st Annual Academy Awards will air live on Sunday at 8:30 p.m. EST/5:30 p.m. PST on ABC.
