Asher Roth

Asher Roth has more than one reason to get high on 4/20. Hip-hop’s new kid on the block has pushed up his album release date to coincide with the stoners’ holiday.

Universal Motown has bumped up Roth’s debut LP Asleep in the Bread Aisle one day from Tuesday, April 21, to Monday, April 20, so it arrives on 4/20, the recognized day to smoke marijuana.

The rapper’s first single “I Love College,” which features the lyrics, “Drink my beer and smoke my weed,” is rapidly climbing the charts. It is currently No. 28 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 6 on iTunes.
