Martha Stewart has befriended some of hip-hop’s biggest stars including Snoop Dogg, LL Cool J, Diddy, and Lauryn Hill. So it comes as no surprise that the Domestic Diva invited Ludacris to join her for lunch earlier this week.

“Here I am having lunch yesterday with Ludacris (Chris Bridges),” wrote Stewart on her blog on Wednesday. “He is a nice young man and very, very busy. He is extremely excited about his new flick and new album.”

What was on the menu? “We had a nice salad, paella, and chocolate cake.” But Luda’s favorite part was dessert. “Ludacris really liked the chocolate cake!”

This is not the first time the rapper and design maven have crossed paths. Ludacris appeared on Stewart’s daytime program last year.

If only we could have been a fly on the wall at that meal…
