Rap-Up.com || 50 Cent to Release Two Albums This Year

50 Cent is taking a play from Eminem’s book by releasing two albums in 2009.

“The new announcement is that I’m dropping two albums,” 50 tells MTV News.

The Queens rapper says the hold up has to do with Dr. Dre. “I’ve had an opportunity to record since I thought I was releasing an album in December. But the portion of my record that I recorded with Dr. Dre was incomplete, because there was no opportunity to mix it. The only song that was mixed that I worked on with Dr. Dre is ‘I Get It In’—that one is out now. It’s cool, but I need the rest of them to be mixed before I can present my project to the public.”

The first of Fiddy’s two albums, Before I Self-Destruct, is scheduled to follow Eminem’s Relapse in June, while his second album will come one month after Em’s Relapse 2 at the end of the year.

How about aftermath stop talking and trying to do this whole simultaneous album release shenanigan, and actually just start to release albums. Better yet, TRY to release singles that are ACTUALLY GOOD!?! *gasp* I think one 50 flop album in one year is good enough for the general public.

2 albumns in 1 year? i mean, he can’t even release ONE GOOD ONE. C’mon 50, don’t over-saturate us with your mediocre music. Eminem that could KIND of go for you too…i HATE “Crack a Bottle”, im sorry. good luck to ‘Em though.

Ugh, those are two albums that i will not be buying.
Eminem, on the other hand, i will be buying “Relapse” the day it comes out.

sorry Em and 2Quarters music both sounds dated as hell, he’ll come out with two albums but i bet 2Quarters that Rick Ross still get more radio airplay off his one album
