Rap-Up.com || Adrienne Bailon Inks Def Jam Deal

Once a member of 3LW and the Cheetah Girls, Adrienne Bailon can now add Island Def Jam signee to her résumé.

The 25-year-old revealed the news of her solo deal signing on her official Twitter page Thursday evening.

“For every1 who wasn’t in NY- I officially announced I HAVE SIGNED A SOLO DEAL WITH ISLAND DEF JAM! :) So happy I’m finally able 2 tell u guys!,” the singer stated, using emoticons to show her elation.

Further information on the deal has yet to be released. Currently, Adrienne hosts a two-hour block of afternoon programming on MTV titled “New Afternoons on MTV.” The show was created to fill the gap left by the cancellation of video countdown show “TRL.”
