Rap-Up.com || Solange Promotes Safe Sex

Solange helped promote safe sex at The Body Shop and MTV Networks’ “Say Yes to Safe Sex” event in New York City on Tuesday.

“This is a very scary topic. It could happen to ANY of us. 3000 young people under 25 are infected with HIV daily!” she wrote on her Twitter page. “It MUST be talked about!”

She gets knocked up and force into a shotgun wedding at 17, and she NEEDS to preach safe sex, okay? who better than someone who has been irresponsible
(or inconsistent) and dealt with the consequences of those choices to speak out. Our kids, and some adults, need to hear this from anybody and everybody. Don’t be judgemental. Take the knowledge from anyone willing to give it. Thank you Solange and anyone else unwilling to hoard wisdom.
