Kid Cudi’s Debut Album Gets Launch Date

Kid Cudi

We were officially informed last week that Kid Cudi’s debut album Man on the Moon: Guardian at the Gate would land on Universal Motown, and we now have an official launch date.

The Cleveland MC will release his first project on August 25, Rap-Up.com has confirmed. He has been in the studio with Travis Barker, Ryan Leslie, will.i.am, Swizz Beatz, and Just Blaze.

Kanye West’s protégé has a busy summer ahead. In addition to completing his album, Cudi has been included in the lineup at the 2009 Lollapalooza Festival being held Aug. 7-9 at Chicago’s Grant Park. He is also acting in a Mark Wahlberg-produced show for HBO called “How to Make It in America.”

Meanwhile, his first single “Day ‘N’ Nite” is No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100.
