The first song has to be a ear catcher and have meaning. this song has some funk, a ringer to it and full of creativity with a difference. This is the year of 2009 not 1991. Richgirl are doing what I feel is best. They are bring the sound and sole with a pintch of funcky R&B hiphop/. With everything going on in this world, the sorrow , the negativity, the moral being down in America. we need uplifting, get us up dancing and moving music. they know hoe to harmonize surly, Troy has'nt heard "Some Where over the Rainbow" harmonizing they got it down. RichGirl ha plenty time to show there harmonizing with ballads.

These girls have described themselves in a unconventional way. I mean En Vogue back in the 90's where and still is for the most part the most diverse female group in history. In the respect that they did live up to their stage name and did show not only class in their dress, but also proved that they could sing as a quartet. With strong vocals and the interchanging of lead singers made this group the best female stand out group since the Supremes. Even the group Brownstone, though they had issues within the group and only recorded two albums with the original members showcased their powerful vocals. This group Richgirl from the sounds of this first track seems to fall more into the catagory of Destinys Child, not taking anything from DS accept the fact that their music is not that of which a person would listen to for generations to come, but more commercial for it's time, and reverberates back to being a fad. When these young ladies come out, I'll listen to the other songs and see what their working with, right now, with the song I just heard, I'm not too impressed.

I agree with the writer above, the thing about girl groups is that they never stay together long...there is always some disagreement, arguing and controversy. As far as this song is concerned, it sounds like that damn Beyonce and I am so sick of her and her sound, that fast pace singing is so annoying with every group and artist doing it. As far as the comparison to En Vogue, I would have to say not on this song. The made a comment about singing about something and singing in general and this song didn't do it for me. They might need to channel EN VOGUE, BROWNSTONE, SWV, Escape, groups like that for inspiration as far as harmonizing and truly singing. I just don't hear it in this song. I'll wait until the cd comes out and check it before I write them off.
