Beyonce, Lil Wayne, and T.I.

Beyoncé, Lil Wayne, and T.I. lead the nominations for the BET Awards 2009, it was announced today.

The Queen B, Weezy F. Baby, and the King of the South all scored five nominations apiece. They were followed by Keri Hilson and T-Pain with four each. Rihanna, Kanye West, Jamie Foxx, and Jazmine Sullivan each nabbed three nominations.

Video of the Year contenders include two from Beyoncé (“If I Were a Boy” and “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)”), Jamie Foxx’s “Blame It,” T.I.’s “Live Your Life” featuring Rihanna, and Kanye West’s “Heartless.”

Jamie Foxx will host and Beyoncé, Maxwell, and Ne-Yo are scheduled to perform at the ninth annual show, which airs live from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 28, at 8 p.m. EST/PST.
