Rap-Up.com || New Music: Kristinia DeBarge

With cute-as-a-button looks, a catchy single, and a famous father, Kristinia DeBarge is poised to be the next teen sensation. The 19-year-old daughter of James DeBarge, member of the ’80s R&B group and Janet Jackson’s ex-husband, enters the running for song of the summer with her Babyface-produced single “Goodbye.”

The song, which samples “Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye,” is already No. 30 on the charts and her debut album will be released July 28 on Island Records.

She’s hot!!! but wasn’t there a controversy years back reguarding James DeBarge and Janet Jackson…and they said that Janet has a lovechild by James DeBarge that is now 19 years old…hmmm looks kinda like janet…hmm

OMG, I am sick of people saying or hinting or debating if this girl is Janets Daughter…LOL, Anyways She Definitely has potential to be the “It” Girl Of the Summer…Beyonce,Ciara,Rihanna,Katy Perry all have had the Crown in there perspective years…Wonder who is going to be the “It” Girl This Year.

There’s nothing interesting about this song. It’s just trying to fit in with all the other synth heavy “boom-bastic” hits rolling out. Besides at some point doesn’t anyone else get tired of hearing songs about girls kickin’ guys to the curb? There are so many other topics to cover!

oh ok, I had no idea that she was his daughter! I can definitely tell she’s a DeBarge though. Real cute girl and nice voice. the song is just ok for me…a lil to kiddy for me, might have to grow on me.

Yeah she’s really pretty!!! But that song “Good Bye” is way overproduced in my opinion… I mean she has such a nice voice – why hide it?
