New Music: T.I. f/ Mary J. Blige – ‘Remember Me’

Put your lighters up. T.I. leaves us with some parting words as he begins serving his 366-day prison sentence.

“Remember Me” is the first single off Paper Trail: Case Closed, the re-release of Tip’s most successful album to date. The King of the South’s collaboration with the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul, Mary J. Blige, previously went by the title “Don’t Forget.” A video has already been shot.

“It’s on when I get back, please don’t forget that,” he raps. “By the time you hear this, I’ll probably be halfway home.”

    thank you BassMan it’s completely contrived. i mean he did the crime. he’s doing the time and it not even that long. a year and a day. Eminem went that longer than that between his last album, David Banner took a year off after two albums in one year. This isn’t the end of the world.. when you’re going away as long as Shyne or Mystikal you can have your tv specials and your ‘remember me’ send offs.
