Rap-Up.com || Beyoncé Goes Above & Beyond with Dance Album

Kelly Rowland isn’t the only Destiny’s Child member making noise on the dance music circuit this summer. Next month, Beyoncé will release Above and Beyoncé Video Collection & Dance Mixes, a compilation of music videos and remixed records showcasing the singer’s first foray into electronica.

Dubbed an “essential companion” to Beyoncé’s best-selling album, I Am… Sasha Fierce, the hour-long DVD brings together seven of the triple threat’s immensely popular videos, including the track that spawned this year’s biggest dance craze, “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It),” and her remixed single “Ego” featuring Kanye West.

Above and Beyoncé also includes an energizing CD of cutting-edge electronica, featuring remixed hits from I Am…. Eight tracks are showcased in the collection with production from Dave Audé, DJ Escape, and Tony Coluccio.

The DVD/CD combo will be available exclusively through Wal-Mart and J&R Music World in New York beginning June 16.

What a coincident that as Kelly’s featured single is picking up momentum and getting good reception along comes Beyonce which this dvd/cd. When Kelly was slated to release her albums the date and the promotion were altered to accommodate Beyonce’s album; why is it that she and her management couldn’t wait longer to release this. As the title states, “Above and beyond” that is what she is doing to have the limelight all to herself and maybe she is telling us that its a dog-eat-dog world. Also, is this recession time with her movie out, albumS, tour and whatever else; what kind of caring artist is this and she couldn’t wait or refuse to do this project just for her fan-lol. More and more this B***h sicks my stomach.

Beyonce USED 2b my fav of fav artists but after realizing her fans r considered idiots(no offense 2any1) I looked as 2 y, then I realized she’s full of it. She’s gottin very Rihanna-esque & I dn’t like it, shes truly a swagger-jacker, but that doesnt mean her songs aren’t good(cuz they r), I jus wished she would hav maintained her r&b/hiphop roots. Sure charts state her song topped on urban charts but she aint, jus cuz she has a dark colored skin don’t mean we can stereotype her as 2bein an urban base artist, cuz she aint anymore. I miss the old bey, not this person who’s givin cough out songs, she’s conforming 2the songs of 2day when she shouldve jus innovated her style a lil 2 continue her growth but I’m tired of her overdramatic yelling across every track. I absolutly dislike rihanna but I’m lovin her everyday cuz she must hav somethin special 2 conform bey 2 make music like her style(dry, stale, original). But bey’s makin movement, her CD 3&7/12*’s but she’s lost me, lol!
